Summary:
After my last stint in corporate America ended September 2024, I was left feeling like my creativity had truly been trapped for quite some time. It was defeating, as I had taken years building a very solid career and working as hard as I could to make the right moves. The upside to this was that I now had the chance to create my own opportunities and find work I was truly passionate about.

I've been an artist and designer for over half my life, a card collector for most of my life, and for my entire life I've been a total nerd and sports fan. After seeing the success of other artists in the collectibles space, I took a leap, bought a bunch of art supplies on Amazon, and began tinkering with turning my own artwork into collectible cards.

The goal was to find a creative outlet that could get me by financially until I found my next job, but after a couple months of diligent work and dedication, I was thriving. I had become an artist, social media manager, inventory tracker, bookkeeper, shipping coordinator, all-in-one business operator and owner.

Mint9 LLC is now a properly established business. I have had the luxury of building a business from scratch, and have been operating every single aspect of it; from creating art and collectibles, to communicating with vendors overseas for packaging and other branded materials.
